Wade Ronald Eftoda 1983 - 2019 Forever Husband of Kristyn Eftoda (nee Stroud), father to Liam, Evony and Boyd and beloved son of Ron and Rose Eftoda was called away too soon, on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the age of 35 years.
He was born in Slave Lake, Alberta and came home with his parents and his big bro Amos to the family farm at the age of 2. He met his life-long friends attending school in Roblin. In high school he met his forever and best friend, Kristyn, and lived an inspiring life.
Wade and Kristyn were married August 1, 2009 and it was then, he became a son to Claire & Kathy Stroud. Wade and Kristyn married overlooking the valley near where he would eventually build their dream home. Wade’s love of the farm inspired him to build their dream home on the land he had treasured.
They had countless adventures, most involving some type of motor, their family, and nature. When they felt settled in their first home they started their family with their first born son, Liam, who is now 6. Followed by the birth of their joyous daughter Evony, who is now 3. They were blessed with their third child, baby Boyd, just two months ago, completing their family and forever being Kristyn’s bright light.
Through the years, Wade was a jack of all trades, but a master of all. He dabbled in the automotive industry and the oil patch, but ultimately chose to work alongside his uncle in the farming industry. His vision was to farm with his entire family and bless his children with the freedom to grow and experience life the way he did. All the while, Kristyn and the family were beside him, supporting him, while he in turn, supported her dreams. This vision will carry on, as his story is not over, and he lives on in his three beautiful children.
Wade was larger than life, some would even say made of steel. He will forever be Kristyn’s best friend, a cherished son to Ron and Rose, Claire and Kathy, strong brother to Amos and his wife Tiffany, and his dear sister-in-law Bobbi Stroud. Not to mention legendary uncle to Ember, Arley, Gavin, Rhys and Axel.
His legacy will live on in everyone he ever met.
“A Love without end, Amen”
