Jody was born August 8, 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Jacqueline and Daniel Langan. While born in Manitoba, he grew up and attended school in Alberta.
Later, he returned to Manitoba, where he move to Ethelbert. This was where his mom and stepfather Tony had settled and began farming.
In Ethelbert, Jody pursued the lifestyle he enjoyed. He spent time fishing and hunting. He helped with the farming, worked at carpentry and drove truck. Jody was great at multi-tasking and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. He tackled everything from renovating houses to fixing derby cars and anything else that he could take apart.
Truck driving gave him the opportunity to see more of Canada. While it took him out of the community, he got to travel - something he loved doing.
Jody always had a smile on his face and had a way of cheering people up all the time. He always complimented others but wasn't afraid to voice his opinion. He had such a huge impact on everyone's life and he will be missed dearly.
Jody passed away suddenly in Dryden, Ontario.
Jody will be greatly missed by his son Jason, stepfather Tony, and by all his extended family and friends. He was predeceased in September 2018 by his mother, Jacqueline.
