Hawrychuk, Annie August 26, 1927 – February 18, 2019 entered eternal rest at her residence in the Zelena District, north of Roblin at the age of 91 years.
Annie was born in the Nova Zorra District of Manitoba to Nick and Tillie Fedeniuk ( nee Tkachuk). As a young girl she attended school at the Nova Zorra School, ½ mile from the Fedeniuk Farm.
On May 11, 1945, she married a local boy, by the name of Paul Hawrychuk. They were married in Roblin at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church by Rev. Fr. Horby. After they were married, they purchased a farm in the Zelena District. They grew abundant crops, with pigs, chickens, cows and Annie always having a large garden. Filled with delicious vegetables and fruits of all kinds.
In her younger years, Annie helped at various functions at St. John the Baptist Church, in Roblin. Be it bake sales, fall suppers, wedding or funeral meals, she enjoyed assisting where she could.
Annie is survived by her sons; Dennis (Lorna), Larry (Dwayne), grandchildren; Ryan, Crystal, great grand son; Alexander.
She is predeceased by her parents; Nick and Tillie; son Edward, husband Paul, brother John and by sister Mary Glagoff.
Funeral Service was held Friday, February 22, 2019 from the Chapel of NairnChyz-Wolkowski Funeral Home, Roblin with Rev. Fr. Brent Kuzyk officiating, and members of St. John the Baptist Church providing the responses. Annie was laid to rest at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Roblin.
