Suidak, Wayne Martin February 14, 1953 – December 13, 2017 passed away in the Stockholm District, Saskatchewan at the age of 64 years.
Wayne was born February 14, 1953 in Theodore, Saskatchewan to Victor and Olga Suidak (nee Diakow). He grew up and went to school in Theodore and moved to Deepdale, Manitoba in 1966. Wayne finished high school in Roblin and then went to work in Northern Manitoba. He farmed from 1977 to 2005 when he sold the farm and went back to operating heavy equipment.
Wayne was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a family man who loved teasing and joking with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a very hardworking man who was determined, strong, and loyal. He was generous, quiet, and quick to laugh. He was a private man but once he got to know someone he was a friend for life. He was non-judgemental and accepted people for who they were. Wayne always had a quick saying for situations, loved auction sales, being outdoors, and liked being busy. He was a good listener who grew more patient each day. He liked sweets and enjoyed going for drives and exploring. Wayne took an interest to travelling and especially enjoyed the rainforest and bird sanctuary in Jamaica.
Wayne will be greatly missed by his wife Tammy, their four children; Adean (Liam Bailie), Tyler, Ashlee (Sean McCall), and Ory; grandchildren; Andrew, Alyssa, Amber, and Myra; great-grandchildren; Attis and Tatum; his mother; Olga Suidak; his siblings; Larry (Bernice), Bradley (Wendy), Richard, and Sandra (Kenny) Stephanow; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Victor.
Funeral Service was held December 20, 2017 from the Chapel of NairnChyz-Wolkowski Funeral Home – Roblin with interment following at the Roblin District Cemetery. Those who so desire, may make memorial donations to the Roblin District Health Care Auxiliary, Box 395, Roblin, Manitoba, ROL 1PO as tokens of remembrance.
